Il piatto riscaldato al microonde di mac and cheese del 7/11 mangiato in hotel a mezzanotte in punto di capodanno,
mentre dalla vicina Times Square provenivano i festeggiamenti dovuti al ball drop di inizio 2024, in una serata
che ci doveva vedere intenti a festeggiare in un rooftop nel financial district, e invece ci ha visti tutti a
letto sconfitti dalla febbre.

What was the Big Apple for me?
It was the microwave-heated plate of mac and cheese from 7/11, eaten in the hotel at midnight on New Year's Eve;
nearby, celebrations for the ball drop and the start of 2024 poured in from Times Square during an evening that should
have found us celebrating on a rooftop in the financial district, but instead saw us all defeated by fever and confined to bed.
