Due parchi che si completano a vicenda: uno visibile già da chilometri di distanza, prima ancora dell'ingresso
nello Utah, con le sue celebri butte che si stagliano verso l'alto in una pianura che non termina mai, solitari
e inscalfibili; l'altro talmente nascosto nel suo sviluppo verso il basso da non essere visibile finché non ci si
affaccia, tanto che mi sorprende non ci siamo inciampati dentro.
Entrambi scavati dai millenni sulla crosta della Terra, dando vita rispettivamente a un bassorilievo e un'incisione.
Mi sembra più che giusto che condividano questa pagina.
Two parks that complement each other: the first visible from miles away, even before entering Utah, with
its famous buttes standing tall and unscalable in a seemingly endless, solitary plain; the other so hidden,
developing downwards, that it is not visible until you look over the edge - I am surprised we did not stumble into it.
Both were carved by millennia of geological activity on the Earth's crust, creating what are, respectively, a bas-relief
and an engraving.
It seems more than fair to me that they share this page.
